Ian Hamilton was admitted as a solicitor in 1969. After employment as an assistant solicitor in firms in Stockport and Hyde, covering a wide variety of work including conveyancing (both domestic and commercial), probate, family, employment, accident and crime, he became a partner in a small Stockport firm, initially engaged in litigation but later moving over to conveyancing and probate. Eventually becoming a sole practitioner, he closed his own firm in 1998 and joined a larger Stockport firm as a Consultant, again specialising in probate and wills. Taking early retirement in 2006, he joined Lewis Rodgers in August 2007 and continues to advise and assist clients in probates, wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, bringing 50 years’ experience and attention to detail to the benefit of the concerns of his clients. His aim is always to offer a very personal service, enabling his clients to feel that they are valued for themselves and that they can always turn to him for help.
